Description

Located in the Cordillera Real southwest of Chachacomani and northwest of Huayna Potosí about 60 kilometers from the city of La Paz, being part of one of the 11 peaks of the Condoriri Valley with a height of 5450 m. / 17,880 ft. establishing as base camp the Laguna de Chiarkhota 4600m. / 15,091 ft., The Little Alpamayo was first conquered in August 1962 by an African couple Irene and Keith Whitelock, also known as Alpamayo Chico by the resemblance to the Alpamayo in Peru.
