Cabeza de Condor is a mixed rock-and-ice climb with exposed 60 ° / 75 ° walls and 1120m / 3,674 ft. of unevenness from Base Camp. Itinerary

3 days Schedule:

DAY 1: We drive 2.30 hours from La Paz passing through the Polcoco Valley until we arrive at La Rinconada where we expect to load animals to take our mountain team and camp and we start a walk of approximately 2 hours until Laguna Chiarkhota 4600 m / 15,092 ft (Base camp).

DAY 2: After a breakfast at 02.00 am we walk through the valley in the direction of Pico Austria (2 hours). At the base of the Head, we entered through a dangerous rock culoir, above, crossed a rock ledge and climbed a mixed surface until the summit (5,720 m / 18,766 ft). Carefully, we descend with rappels and return to Base Camp.

DAY 3: After breakfast we will get up to our campsite and walk to La Rinconada where mobility will return us to La Paz.
